How to avoid becoming a victim of the liar

Although honesty is generally taught as the best policy, I propose that this is the only policy to follow in 99% of cases. The other 1% could be called "white lies." How to know the difference, ie when someone is telling the whole truth in front of a white lie? Here are some tips to help you detect a liar.
