If I buy a Buck Jones DVD on eBay, is it legal for that person to sell?
yes, but these movies were never made for DVD
they are transfer from 8MM
ok, i just wasnt sure since these movies are from the early 1900's
Under the circumstances you describe, resale of a disc that is a transfer to DVD presumably without the consent of the copyright holder, the copy is illegal to begin with, and your resale of it constitutes copyright infringement.
