pictures of a house spider the size of a half a dollar?
i want to know what kind of spider i keep finding in my house, it is the size of a half dollar and gray and white in color
I am located in southwest Iowa---and the spiders legs actually reached out a bit further than a half dollar. The body was about the size of a dime, and roundish.
Lisa, many spiders fall into that category.
We would really need a picture of it;
or at least your general location (where you live?)
so we can try to narrow it down from all the spiders
we have to choose from in the whole wide world.

I have personally seen a large wolf spider at a nature museum and it is as big as you have described.
Provided you haven't found them in webs, I bet your
spiders are wolf spiders of some sort. They are found all across the US (even Iowa) and do come in the size and color you describe. I certainly wouldn't want one to crawl on me that's fer sure.
