Texas Holdem No Limit Poker - Bozeman Poker Tournaments
Texas Holdem is one of the most dramatic and popular varieties of poker in the world. In Texas holdem, like all variants of poker individuals compete for an amount of money contributed by the players themselves called the pot.

The four major variations of Texas holdem are distinguished from each other by their betting limits. Texas Holdem can be played as Limit, No Limit, and Pot Limit. Hold'em rules remain the same for all the variants. Texas holdem no limit poker is the most dramatic of the three variants. In no limit, a player may wager all of his/her chips, known as “going all-in” and this can create some interesting scenarios.
The minimum bet in no limit holdem is the same as the size of the big blind, but players can always bet as much more as they want, even up to all of their chips. In no limit Texas holdem, the minimum raise amount must be at least as much as the previous bet or raise in the same round. The maximum eligible raise is the size of your stack or your chips on the table. There is no ‘cap’ on the number of raises allowed in no limit Texas holdem.
The number one way of making money in no limit Texas holdem is the use of trapping hands. This so when you have a really strong hand and another person has a less or hand that they can't get away from. Trapping hand would be if you flop a set and another person has pocket Aces or Kings. Trapping hands can come in all kinds of forms.
In no limit bluffing is more of a potent tool, especially coupled with a good read of a hand and position. Learning when to bluff is an advanced skill that you will pick up as you learn the ins and outs of the game more.

Looking for recommendations on small rifle or carbine primarily for target shooting?
I'm former military with limited hunting experience, so I'm inclined to pick up some kind of AR-15 variant just for target practice and (my pitch to my wife...) for home defense. I understand the sights and how they work. However, the AR's are pricey, in the $900-$1k range, so I'm looking at other options. I've looked at the Ruger mini-14 and some M-1s, and I've even jumped the fence and looked at few bolt actions, like the Weatherby Vanguard and the Remington 710. I like the feel of the bolt actions but not having to take my finger off the trigger when target shooting to chamber a round. Also, a smaller rifle would probably be better in the house, if I really DID need it for home defense (yeah, a handgun would be better yet, but trust me, that's not happening right now). So, any suggestions on an affordable carbine/small rifle that's accurate enough to take to a range without embarrassment? Thanks in advance.
Why not get a Ruger 10/22 carbine? Cost is about $178 in my area. It is semi-auto and uses the economical .22LR ammo.
