Do comic books go up in value if there is a mistake for them?
I've been collecting comics series called DC for my children 52. It began with number 52 and each week the countdown (51, 50, etc.) Anyway, the edition number 21 has the wrong date printed on it. Issue 22 was dated November 28 to issue 21 must be dated December 5. They have been October 5th edition and then 20 picks up with the correct date of 12 December. As I printed DC October instead of December Does it add value to it?
It just depends on how many went into general circulation ...... If many people have them, not worth much ... in fact most people probably have the one with the wrong date on it, because it was the first impression and the series had follow-up by then .... which have the correct date probably worth more because there is less. PS. I have a copy of it, my son does and so does my husband. Comics Odyssey Aaron says tons were sold. Not better than what you paid for it originally is what I mean ..... and since the number 52 really is not all so good, I'd say go down in value, if any thing. Sorry, mate.
