Is it possible to lie your age on a job application?
Im trying to apply to a job with a mininum age of 14.
Im 13, turning 14 within 3 months.
I really need to save up money to go into a Legion Athletes Camp.. which, is sometime during June
which costs around 400-500$ and I come from a small town where theres not much of odd jobs :/
There was actually a couple younger girls from my school working there and I wondered.. how the heck did they get the job while being 12/13?
It's always possible to lie, but it's not a good idea. At your age, working papers are required for a job. You'll have to provide proof of age to get them, so whatever you put on the application won't matter, because they will require working papers from you as well. Those will have your correct age.
You also have to consider the trouble an employer would get into for hiring an underaged worker.
