There are few places in the United States, which compares with the west coast of America, particularly around the California region. With a combination of both visiting the city on the outskirts of Los Angeles and San Francisco and explore the outdoors through landscapes like the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park, staying busy will never be a problem.

When most people think of the West Coast, California is one of the major regions that come to mind. Here are some of the most beautiful beaches in America, and some of the most vibrant and exclusive California is a destination that should feature high on the list to anyone.

Although Los Angeles is the largest city in California in San Francisco is one of the most popular for tourists. This is where the famous Golden Gate Bridge - possibly one of the best in the United States ten wonders of the building - is located. Another attraction popular is the island of Alcatraz. Once a federal prison, Alcatraz has been renovated into a national recreation area and well worth visiting on a trip to San Francisco, because of its long history and colorful.

Just outside of San Francisco is famous countries of the region's wine. In the area just north of the city More than 400 wineries - many of which have an international presence on the shelves of the store. Wine Routes are extremely popular and offer an excellent opportunity to taste some of the favorite wine regions and examine some of the techniques of viticulture that have made California a leading worldwide producer of top wines.

Outside the warehouses and into eastern California, another destination is unforgettable Yosemite National Park. Covering nearly 2,000 square kilometers, there are few places in the world offer a landscape as vast and unspoiled playground for visitors and tourists to enjoy.

The landscape consists of Yosemite waterfalls, granite cliffs overwhelming and clear, unpolluted streams. Although Yosemite attracts more than 3.5 million people each year, the park - as a World Heritage Site - is carefully protected by the U.S. government and so has remained untouched by tourism.

Another area of immense natural beauty is the Grand Canyon. Located just below California the Grand Canyon is located within the state of Arizona and for the most part is inside the Grand Canyon National Park.

The Grand Canyon is a steep dry throat formed by the Colorado River over a period of six million. About 227 miles long and wide as far as going 18 miles, which is really one of the biggest attractions and most unique view on the west coast of America, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors to explore.

Although there are many other places to visit along the west coast, some of the most interesting and most exciting vacation U.S. may be experienced in and around the area of California. From the cultural attractions of San Francisco to the natural beauty of Yosemite National Park, a holiday along the west coast of the United States promises to be nothing short of amazing.

In the Adam West 'Batman' TV series, do they kill off Robin?

I am not sure because I was young, but I think I remember Robin being killed off of the series. I believe the Joker kicks Robin out of a plane and he falls into water, where he dies. Does anyone else remember?

No, because the 70s TV series was based on the Silver Age comics & Robin "died " in the 80s & then came back as the new Red Hood much latter, after he, Jason Todd, had been replaced by Dick Grayson, Stephanie Brown, & Tim Drake.
